For people that use Rock Auto (and anyone that hasn't, but wants too), maybe we can keep the a list of discount codes and when they expire.....
Here's how to use it:
Enter the code in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart. Please enter ONLY the discount code, no other words or numbers.
Your discount will automatically appear, subtracted from your order total.
The discount takes 5% off the order._________________ Ed

Just out of curiosity, how bad do they ding you for shipping for parts Olaf? Being back in the old country, I'd think it would be a fair penny.

CJ, I have had a so-called freight forwarder address in Linden, New Jersey for some years now, one that I got through my shipping agent Jetcarrier. It is a valid street address to their warehouse, with my personal 'suite' so and so, and I get all stuff I buy in USA delivered to that address, often by free shipping. There they stock my goods for shipping by container, a ship leaves for Norway every 10-14 days. Alternatively, I can have them ship it by air every friday, to be picked up at my local postoffice by tuesday. They are situated next to an air strip in NJ. They gather all deliveries, ship them as one single packet, handle all taxes and customs clearance, and I pick it up at my local post office, or at their warehouse, if I prefer that. In contrast, the few US retailers that actually bother to export US made stuff, charge a minimum $60-70 postage, plus a substantial handling fee, for even the smallest of packets sent by mail to Norway, and then I have to do all the handling myself. Using Jetcarrier, for a very low price, I can have maybe 5 different packets in one shipment by seafreight. Dead slow, dirt cheap, no trouble, never a single incident with Jetcarrier, good people to deal with! See the price list in the link above, 'Fly' translates to Airplane, 'Sjøfrakt' means Seafreight, the price lists are self-explanatory. (1 norwegian 'krone', NOK = USD 0.1755) They deliver to Sweden and Denmark as well, I highly recommend them. As of today, they have 76864 customers in the Nordic countries.
Olaf
