Hey Everyone,
I have read and heard conflicting information regarding 'changing' or 'Not changing' the coil after installing electronic ignition..!! What are the 'positives' or 'negatives'..?? I have converted over to electronic and am still running my stock coil with no problems.. What are the facts and everyone's opinion..!!
Thanks

Well, when I upgraded on my Satellite, I kept the old coil, and with in 2 weeks, it went belly up. The guy at the parts store where I got a new one said that when Chrysler went to electronic ignition, they changed the coil to handle the extra power. I ran an Accel coil on my (late) '70 Fury for years with electronic ignition and I to never had a problem.
