What mods have you made to the engine?

If it's stock, 500cfm or smaller.

If you've bumped the compression up significantly, and installed a big cam, you can breath a 600 cfm.

Do you have a specific build in mind?

.080 over
mill block and head to acheive 12.5:1 compression
300 degree advertised duration camshaft with a 102 LSA and .680 lift
Substitute the valve springs for the ones out of a coil over suspension from a 1965 Lincoln Continental
Use Valves from a 351-4V Cleveland even though they don't fit (use more assembly lube you can force them in there...just notch the bore enough so you can use the leak fromthe water jacket to supress detonation like water injection on steroids)
Use late model forged crank but use an angle grinder to bob the counter weights to drop some rotating mass...

Hang on I'm going back to Bench Racers anonymous....

Bench Racers Anon for recovering psycho build ideas!!!! The only issue I see is finding a large enough valve cover and corresponding hoodscoop to make the coil overs fit.... that could be a toughie! :D

*Digs through JC whitney catalog for "grave digger" monster truck parts.... *

LOL

I agree w/Ceej, however, 500cfm is quite a monster for a stocker! You would need to jet it down a bit I think...
