I topped my power steering fluid off today, not sure if that counts or not. Im too busy fixing other peoples GM POSs to have time for my car. It is getting a good tune up this week though!_________________

I went to the grocery store this morning, and out in the parking lot is a primer gray/rust 1974 Hatchback Nova... now this car has been around the neighborhood and the 3 punks who ride in it, aren't mechanically inclined ("Dude, this car sounds cool....")...for the last month they've been doing burnouts and pretending their the Fast and Furious....
Well, the Nova had catastrophic failure... I walked by, they're on the cell phone, all the doors, hood, trunk are all open... the car is sitting in a big pool of 'fluid'...I mean 4 parking spots big...Nova right in the center....
Just at a quick sniff, it looked and smelled like: coolant, oil, tranny fluid, gasoline...
And they just sit there staring at me...driving away in a beat up patina brown Valiant...
Tell your buddies to wait, your duster needs some love...

| Still in the process of rebuilding my heater box. I need to wait for the weather to warm up so I can spraypaint the parts in my garage. Really wanting to get it done so I can get a prototype done up for the aluminum glove box inserts. A bunch of people are interested and I need to get it in work.

OK, today it wasn't what I got done to the car, but what I did in the car.Got it up to a new top speed of ...drumroll please...82 mph!
Yeah, not real fast, but the odometer will hit the 300K mark this week, and still no rebuild needed._________________ "Whoa, this thing has an inline six?"

I bought a slant car... does that count? Hey Josh, if you are swapping to the 833, can I get the old column shifter stuff from you? I need it for my poor '66..

| Sure, you get me a floor shift column and you can have my 3-speed column, trans, and bellhousing. Too bad the '67 column won't fit your '66.

Cleaned up the boot and applied rubberizing agent to protect and dampen the noise in the 68 Cuda._________________ Regards,

Today-Ordered the last of the parts for the tubular A-arms on the Daytona.
Yesterday-Replaced the rear springs and shocks on the Dakota. Also changed the gear lube and changed motor oil and filter.

Bought a replacement exhaust system for my 5th ave for $30 and traded AggressiveTed a Holley 4360 carb for a cast iron Super Six intake. Sometime this month I hope to switch exhausts from the rusted out and clogged up stock exhaust with three cats currently on my 5th ave to the 2 1/2 inch catless $30 exhaust I got. It is the stock exhaust (modified to exit in front of the passenger rear tire) off of a Aspen R/T, so it should bolt right up to my 5th Ave.
