I know this is probably an old request, but could someone estimate a reasonable quarter mile time that my car could be expected to turn at a few hundred feet above seal level.

My 67' Dart GT Convertible is now set up as follows:
225 ci .030" over; head 1.70" & 1.44" valves ported, shaved .075" for 9.5:1 CR.; 390 4v Holley, Clifford Shorty headers & intake; 2" duals all the way back; 904 with 2600 stall TC; 3.55:1 Suregrip; P205/70R14 rubber, and disk / 10" drum brakes. Approximately 3300 pounds of iron & flesh.

Ahhh, virtual racing at its best. Three runs, and each time better than the last!!! Thanks guys, the track has been good to me today.

Some of you probably know my cars is still on jack stands collecting copious amounts of tree pollen while awaiting the return of the third member... So this was a little outing, so to speak, with the old girl.

June 6 we have a nice car meet at Winterport Drag Way. Perhaps I'll make a few passes.

Went to the dragway & Car show today. Transmission was acting up, so I did not make any runs.

Hey Rick, take a number, that question has been asked a million times of me, I don't know. I purchased the car last year with a mystery cam all ready installed, and I have not opened up the lowered end as it is in good shape.

All I can say, it idles at 1100 rpms fairly smoothly with 10" of vacuum, and with pronounced lope in gear at 800 or so rpms with 5-6" vacuum. The power comes on real strong above 3200 rpms, and the engine will rev to 5K easily.

Me quoting me:

Gezz sorry Rick, didn't intend to sound so abrupt with such poor choice of words. It was meant to be rather satirical in a light hearted way. This car has been a magical mystery tour from day one, and I don't think I'm going to solve the cam puzzle soon.

How about this: Gezz Rick, beats the crap out of me LOL... What the hey, the magical mystery tour continues, I wish I knew, it would make things a bit more simple...

Got another beer around here? What? Not that watery crap, don't be afraid of flavor man... Yeah, yeah, I'll take it, OK I'll take it, any port in a storm LOL.
