ok guys say i have 2,000$ to spend on puting a slant six into my 1965 plymouth barracuda that is now bone stock with a 904 automatic. I want to be able to run 14's in the quarter and still keep it fully streetable I.E. all stock interior stays in, i also want it to be reliable and start without to much grief??? so what do you Gurus think turbo, supercharge, big cam, big Four barrel, or what any input will help........Santed is the only way to be.........

$2000 is a little shallow for 14s in that car, but it can be done with some patience and a lot of shopping around. $3000 would make your shopping job easier. You can do it naturally aspirated with a 4bbl, and a high-stall converter, big cam, lower axle gear, headwork... Check out my '64 Dart buildup in "Member Slant Sixes" section of the .com site.
