I am working on some Tee shirt designs and I am going to try and sell them and make some $$ and donate all of the profits to this race. Of course anyone who wants to add a few bucks towards the purse please let me know. Last year we had about a $700 payout. Hopefully we can get close to that again. I really think we could have 14-16 racers pretty easily since we had 9 last year. The track gave us a 100% payback on our entry fee so that would be $550 right there.

Dan is a V8 guy. He was really impressed with how I got my Valiant to move but it was still "only" a 16 second car. He wants to run 13's. I keep trying to point out to him that my convertable is probably only an 18 second car but I can start and DRIVE it anytime I want, my Volare is probably only an 18 second car but it will be inspected and legal in a few days. He has a 65 barracuda he can't drive, a 65 Belvidere he can't drive and a 70 Barracuda covertable that dosent run well enough to take to a cruise night. He has spent countless hours and $$$ on all 3 of them but well..._________________ |

We'll keep workin' on ol' Joesnow...
I hope to have 3 Slant cars in the 14s or better this year. Maybe one 13s, one 14s, and one 15s if I'm realistic. Two of them can be driven 2000+ miles at the drop of a hat.

| I penciled in that race, as something to shoot for, as far as having a car and money ready. Very iffy though. It's a long tow for me.

| I've just penciled in that show and race as well - I just picked up a running driving 87 D100 shortbed slant 904 truck. I'm sure it will be slow as molasses but what the heck!

count me in on the fun! with a little luck and alot of bucks i'll make it with my dart. would be my first pass ever. probably wont be on the hose by than but will be a good time to tune on the carbs! this triple carb idea sounded cool but is pushing my limits on tuning skills. hope to see everyone there!_________________  75 dart custom, 225, >10.5-1, hurricane, 500holley, erson cam, 904, 8.8 ford 3.55 or 3.91 aussielocked, 17" steelies, and much more. |
