Broke my converter. Ordered a new one last monday, got it wednesday, put it in last night.
I'll be there with nitrous on.

I will make the trip by plane, Bob Stepp is already on his way by car. (California to Kentucky)
Hey, Here is an idea, Let's have a Lotto!
Let's guess on how many SL6 cars will run in the first round of the Slant Six Race. (eliminations)
My guess is 26 (no, I don't have any "insider" info., this is a W.A.G.)
Guesses must be posted in this message thread by midnight Friday 7-19-02 message forum time. (west coast) - It will help if you post your guess to this message and put your guess in the message title. (follow my sample)
I will see if I can round-up some sort of "prize" for the person comming closest to the actual fisrt round car count. (if there is no good email address contact info., too bad, we keep the prize!)
Anyway, Clay City, KY get ready for some SL6 fun!

I'd say that 5 is a real good guess Will. So far, the only player I know of that won't be there is Mark.

26, 28, 29, 32 cars. Boy that would be a great show.
Fast Four will be run Sunday to kick things off with the SS Hemi & Max Wedge cars.
I would love to see 4 cars in the 10's in the Fast Four and yet I would hate to see a 10 second car miss that Shootout should more than 4 cars run in the 10's.
For those who pre entered, ticket packages are in the mail. Track kinda held me up on tickets, sorry for the delay.
I really look forward to seeing you all this coming weekend and everyone have a safe trip.
On a side note, they are working on I-64 from Lexington to Winchester widening to 4 lanes each way, watch your speed thru this area as fines are doubled thru construction.
It's no problem though, I was just thru there last week and road is in good shape.

The heads-up SL6 Fast 4 Race will be on Sunday, Bobby wants to use this special race to "kick-off" all of Sunday's big hitter racing action so we are hoping the Fast 4 get's run early on Sunday, that way the long haul people can see the Fastest 4 Slant cars run, before they have to make that long drive home.
