Nick Bowman: where i have been!

Hi, for those who dont know me im Nick Bowman. I ran 1 year of slant six with my duster in 2008. ending up rookie of the year. just popping in to see whats up with you all and let ya know how i have been and what ive been up too...
SINCE YOU HAVE SEEN ME LAST:

#1 i have managed to win 3 more times in the slant-6 setup in regular bracket racing at pittsburgh raceway park in the street eliminator class and managed to make it to 1 or 2 finals in BOX/NO BOX racing there.
the fastest ET i ended up with in the slant was 17.72 and i think the mph was like 76 ?

#2: slant 6 has been sold...i put a 318 in with 100k miles, replaced a few components added headders and 4bbl,(heads never pulled).. fresh 727 trans with manual valve body (reverse pattern) (already had 8 3/4 with 3.23 gears in slant 6 towards the end there, super stock 2800lb springs as well. still race car on stock radial size tires with the 318... BEST ET in 1/4 mile 14.00 @ 98 MPH best 1/8th 8.94 @ 80 (would of been 13.90's)
2008 i ran at the NO BOX BANANZA at norwalk (summit motorsportspark
running 18.30s went 3 or 4 rounds in a $5000 race... ran the fastest car on the property and won with a .006 reaction time...he was dialed in at 7.64...from there on the car received the nick name "the dragster slayer"

ever since that day, my average win ratio against a dragster("rail") is probably in the 75% range... i have only lost to a dragster maybe 2 times in my life in this car... and have ran MANY in diff. bracket races... something about my car, it hates dragsters!

#3 in 2009 i won about 5-6 races on the year.

2009 mopar finals 3rd place overall sportsman points 5of6 races ran

2009 4th place overall street eliminator points series at pittsburgh raceway park.

2010 chrysler classic sportsman eliminator winner (saturday) pittsburgh raceway park 6th annual curt george memorial chrysler classic event!

still deep staging and doing my thing every week... the 2010 season continues...

also found myself into alot of mini moto x again. racing mini bikes
so thats what ive been up to since ive seen you all last. hope you are all doing well.

to tell you the truth, you probably will see me in a slant six again one day, not this same car but i will get another. so many people remember me by that. YOUR THE GUY WITH THE SLANT SIX RIGHT ? haha so ill make a comeback tour one day with it...
