D weight class: “Any doorslammer type vehicle with a Slant 6 engine that is 3200# or heavier” (C weight class will now be 2700-3199#.)

If you are running a 170 block engine, you are to be classed in the weight bracket just above the bracket the car weight actually falls into. For example, if you have a 2200# car, you would run “A” weight class with a 198/225-block motor, BUT if you have a 170-block motor, then you would be officially classed as a “B” class car.

Thanks!

Does this mean my 3250lbs Barracuda, with a 170 will run as a "E" Shocked Confused or can't run at all as it is heavier then 3199 lbs Crying or Very sad .

You'll be good to run in the unlimited class as long as you put the Toyota on the trailer and tow it down the strip with your Barracuda Charlie! Very Happy Laughing Laughing

I vote for the splits for 1/8th mile records.Personally cause I could have some.As a group it gives people that only have acsess to 1/8 mile tracks more info. And there is only 1 race in the whole country that the records can bee made.I vote splits should count at slant events.Guzzi Mark

I checked my yahoo mail this evening and received a very nice email from PJ. She's a marvelous sportswoman.
The Jesiolowski racing team is a class act. Very Happy
I hope to see them again soon!

Everybody that attended, I've been working on getting a volume deal on some of the photos shot by Donna L. Bistran of our groups cars. Take a look through her photos and let me know if your intersted in any of the shots.
What I'm trying to do is get us a CD/DVD of the photos at a highly discounted rate. $35 for a digital photo is a bit steep. Once I get a list of what everybody wants, I'll see about getting a price. There are some very nice photos on her web site, and there are more that weren't posted. Shocked

Huge congrats to CJ on the big win! Thanks for posting pics everyone, and thanks to Fopar for posting the ladder and round times/wins.

FWIW, in the East, we draw up a ladder with bye runs on a sheet of paper, then pull names out of a hat and write them down top to bottom on the 1st ladder column. This means the person who gets any bye run is randomly selected, and all pairings are randomly selected.

Glad you all had a great time at MATS...

Lou
