I'm willing to hang on to the Street/Ruster Duster for a few more months in the hopes that we can put something together in the form of a 24 Hours of LeMONS race car,... but I need a written commitment from you that you wanna do this! Shocked

Basically just post here that you want to do this so that when it doesn't happen and this stupid thing is still sitting here I can blame it all on you! Shocked Laughing

Bagel's workin' too much to play. Got that one.
Poppa Smurf says he wants to play some time in the fall for a Spring 2013 debut.
Lou will be playin' wit dat ferrin' car this year, so maybe next year.
Andy ain't never come on line 'bout no interest yet.
Cookie can't never commit to nuthin'...

Shoot! I guess I dun answered my own question right there, didn't I...? Confused Laughing

Aw heck, seein' as how that race is on my "Bucket List" & all I figger that Duster can sit there awhile longer until things shake out sum...

Maybe I'll look around here local like & see if I cain't stir up sum interest er someone that can weld a little to fix that front part up...

I called Gerald and he has too many other projects that take priority over putting together a Slant 6 race car. Sad

He is hoping to find someone there around North Georgia that already has a Slant 6 car that he can get to race it and him be more like the crew chief or something. That way he hasn't acquired another race car, he's just getting more involved.

The Street Duster's fate is still undecided... Rolling Eyes Laughing

Street "Ruster" Duster gave up another part to GodsRods Duster II the other day.

The idler arm. Laughing

I'm thinking that this car will pretty much give up all but the rustiest of pieces to other Dusters/Demons before all is said and done... Wink

(Ain't that right Dennis & Wayne?! Laughing )

I'm thinkin' sometime right after Clay City... Very Happy

GrassRoots Motorsports had another article on the wonderous benefits of the two "low buck" racing series sweeping the nation... Rolling Eyes

Mike(13) and CJ(11) read the article and they are on board to help! Very Happy

Looks like I'm gonna have to find a different suspension to bring up to Illinoisy in a couple weeks 'Zilla... Laughing

Or maybe that AlterKation & ladder bar schtuff will have to finds its way under there after all... Shocked
