I wouldn't mind going but at the moment I got my house tore apart doing some remodeling and trying to get this school year finished out so I can take a vacation or atleast a few days off. School aint out till the 27th of May it would be hard for me to go anywhere before that unless it was just a short one day trip.

We'll have plenty of other Road Trips to do Lukus. Very Happy

We should plan something for when school lets out.

Not really Slant related, but I still need to go down to just South of Atlanta to pick up my '87 Shelby Charger. That could be a day trip for you. The friend that has been keeping it for me is a big Mopar fan and has some cool cars.

We'll brain storm something on the 16th. Sound good?

We are fighting trying to get two step raises approved this year in this economy and it is looking good so we all need to be onour best behavior till it passes any way. the school board passed the budget tonight just waiting on the county commission now all 386 million dollars worth. Very Happy

I have been noticing for the last few days that it seemed like I might have a front brake not releasing on the Dakota. So I pulled it in the shop and checked them out I found a rubber hose dry rotted bad on the drivers side. I also figured out for anyone who has a 1988 Dakota that it matters whether the truck was built before or after 10/19/87 which hoses the front brakes take. Of course I have the one that no one has and had to order it.
Just MY Luck Sad
Parts should be in today though. Just thought that bit of information might be useful to someone I had no idea until I started hunting the line that they would be so difficult to find. was a 10 minute job and 3 hours hunting the part Smile

Figures. Rolling Eyes

It's always gotta be something. Glad you got it figured out.

Is that Mustang up and running yet? Shocked

Ya know, if you can't get it running the way it is... A Slant 6 could be put in it... You seem to have that swap pretty well figured out by now...

I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'... Laughing

Rob,
The Mustang is running It has a really good sounding motor in it. It's a stroker motor just not my kind of car but guess I have to fix this one Smile
I think the transmission is junk though somebody sold it to her as a 800 dollar race transmission before I had anything to do with it and it appears to be a stock pile of junk that is burnt up.

Larry has been all under the hood of the car rigging stuff like he does best not to mention the fact it has been nose dived in a ditch so this ones not going to be an easy project.

I think we are out of luck at talking her into a slant six she wants that motor and a five speed back in it. Trust me I tried

I been putting this project off for a year now and I have ran out of excuses to not work on it. Maybe by late summer might get it back up and going. I need a five speed transmission and 2 pony wheels if you run acrosss anything like that.
