I'm all sunburnt again! 
Doug and Dave were in the final, Doug was victorious!
It was an all slant semi-final, I took out the chevy Wagon remaining in the mix in the quarter final. He was being cute, dialing soft. My cam comes on in the last 100 feet in third, so he couldn't pick up the mass to catch me. Led him across the stripe and put him on the trailer. 
Dave and I broke out. He went too fast by 1/100th, I was 2/100ths! Good race Dave! My light was passable, after waiting for him to go sight seeing down the strip for five seconds. Darn Sunday drivers! Doug had to wait seven seconds to launch.
On a bright note, Dave earned the bye for the first round! Even the track officials gave him a ration of poo about that! "What? You?
Doug is victorious! He absolutely dominated this year! Mike finished well, as did Wendy!
For some reason, Fopar didn't run. He was pretty tight lipped about it. I suspect we might have heard the blower whine, or seen him purging nitrous or something and let the cat out of the bag before Redding. We'll have to see what the old coot is up to now. 
A fun day at the track.
