I started doing some work on a 66 ( Terrys old car) its not mine but got the ok to use it. Should be ready by then so count me in ,i am also motivating a couple of others, no reason why we cant get at least 17 for this race.

HEY ALL, SCOTT FROM REDDING HERE. haven't been on the site in a long while. I had the ol'rusty chop top A100 some of you may remember. It is in the hands of Mopar Collectors Guide since VEGAS 09' I am trying to get my wifes 69 A100 p/u going for the Redding race. I think I can,I think I can.... was wondering what you all thought about making the Redding race a memorial race for Randy Judge, Redding BEE member whom we lost this year. I know its short notice but I don't think it would take much to put together.I can contact his widow and get his cars and family there and maybe we could announce something and maybe do a small money pool or?? He was a great guy. My number is 530-515-3906, call me cuz I don't get to the computer much.

A memorial service was held for Randy Judge in Redding on Sept. 4th. The Killer Bee Team did send a floral sympathy arrangement to his family and the Killer Bees were represented and spoke of Randy's involvement in Slant6 racing at his memorial.
We will certainly dedicate this race in memory of Randy Judge.

So are most of you camping at the Redding dragstrip or staying at a hotel/motel? Kev and I thought about camping but he gets so cold at night and the temps are dropping.. So we opted for the hotel.. I'm bringing appliances with me (crockpot, griddle, electric burners, etc..) so we can do some cooking in our room. We'll be arriving in Redding that Thursday and heading back home on Monday.. It's about an 11 hour drive for us..

Debbie tell kevin to run his car it is not who has the fastest car it is who has the most consistent car. It seems the faster you go the harder it is to be consistent.

It wasn't Kev's car that was referred to.. He's racing his dart in Redding. It was about me referring to my duster that was too slow to race Smile

Kev's been working on it but it still has a ways to go.. I understand the consistency thing Smile
