Clay City, KY Race 1-2 OCT

I just contacted the folks at Mt. Park Dragway in Clay City to confirm everything for the Slant 6 race on 1-2 OCT.
The Mopar Southern Classic is a "Mopar versus the World" format.
Everything is a go for a 2-Day race! They have the flyer final draft almost ready to publish. Here's the skinny:
Test & Tune will be Friday night (30 SEP). Gates open at 4:00, Testing 6:00-11:00. Fee is $20.
Spectators: Fri - $5, Sat OR Sun - $15, Sat & Sun - $25, 3 days - $30, 12 & under free.
Slant 6 races both SAT and SUN. Entry fee is $40.
SAT gates open at 11:00 am. Time trials (2) start at 1:00 pm. We're first up for Eliminations at 4:00 pm. (before the Hemi and Wedge folks)
SUN gates open at 9:00 am. Time trials (2) start at 10:30. Final Eliminations start at 1:00 pm. They worked us in realy well last year. I think Slant 6s are their favorites.
They have tentative payout information on the draft flyer, but the minimum car count is 18. So we'll adjust on the fly when we see what the turnout is.
You can enter more than one class each day. Other classes are:
Top ET - $50 entry
Modified - $40 entry
Super ET - $35 entry
Saturday will be Mopar versus the World. Sunday is Mopar only.
There is also a Top 31 Car Show and vendor and swap meet.
Race fuel is available at the track and camping on-site is welcome. They always reserve us the best spot in the house right under two big trees and next to the tower, shower and pizza shack.
As soon as I get back from Tucson I will start digging into more specifics on local hotels, restaurants, stores, etc.
Everyone plan on going to Kathy's Country Kitchen for dinner at least once while we're there! I'm buying Lou's dinner (Kentucky Hot Round)and Wayne's fried green tomatoes!

| So far it looks like four of us will attend. Have not talked to Dadtruck but I am sure he has it on his calendar. So DT, me, Kenny, and my Dad. Trying to work on my neighbor Keith (huge Mopar fan) as well. Going to take Dad's Suburban down.

Hi guys - I am considering coming to this for just one day as I cannot make the whole weekend.. My Schedule is setup so that This is a lighter weekend of work than others and wit only a 7ish hour tow I can make it for sunday.
Is the $40 Entry for both days or $40 per day to race slant6?
I am looking to come if possible.

Greg,
Would be great if you can come. I bet it is $40 each day? These guys take care of us with a good purse every year, it seems.
Lou
