Possum, how much compression you got in that motor? If you're over 10.5 leave the hose alone. Your motor will thank me for sure. Confused

Gary Bruner says it about a 10.to 1 engine I built it for a 150 hp spray and it has good stuff in it Forged Venoila pistons forged rods and crank. It does have some age on it about ten years but it still is up to specs. If I could spray a 150 shot and know how to set it up we would do it. I got all the electronics to do that just not the know how. Thanks Your racing friend Possum

I've built quite a few NMCA motors that had over 13-1/2 to 1 compression and used 400 horse nitrous Fogger systems on them. Its all in the cam.

Not with a Slant. There's not much holding the head on to start with. High compression and spray will lift a head instantly if the tune-up is not exactly right. Embarassed

Ron, we need to talk. Very Happy

That's one of the draws to doing this Slanted Thing in the first place!

If it was easy we'd all be drivin' Chebbies with 350/350 combos... Rolling Eyes

(Oops! Scott's got a Camaro... Embarassed ) Laughing

Possum's been talkin' 'bout goin' to the "Dark Side" with all them fancy Bamboozler parts fer a long time now.

I don't think he'll actually pull the trigger and do it though. He's too set in his ways of bein' one bad asz foot brake racer! Wink

I really do think it will happen this year. Very Happy

Cookie is going back up to Bagel's shop Easter weekend to get some more done on the Piggie. They should have it ready then or soon after that.

I've got GodsRods Duster II ready and have made a couple passes in it.

I project that Cookie and I will meet up for a Grudge Match somewhere between Indianapolis and Elizabethtown within a couple months.

Then we will schedule a re-match at Clay City in October. It's only sporting of me to give him a second chance after I beat him the first time! Laughing
