To Mater and the Prof,

Just got off the phone with the Big D. We are hashing things out!!!! Looks like I will be traveling north on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Will be taking engine trans and pieces parts as well as some chocolate chip and oatmeal rasin cookies!

Rick you may want to be thinking of a design for that shirt!

Big thanks and hats off to Zilla for this opportunity and for taking me under his wing so to speak.

Mater, the worst case scenerio I am planning for is to be at Clay City to personally kick your backsides. Big D is shootin' for sooner.

Clay City is forever away. You can get to a race before that, dude! However, we'll take it if that's all ya got...

In any case, I'm excited!

I set Kookie up with a type of "Lend-Lease" program today. If he plays his cards right he'll have a running car his first trip up here.

Car is up on stands and the motor can come out in less than an hour. Let's make this happen Wookie. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Dear Cookie,

I was most encouraged by your latest post indicating that you have been given such a wonderful opportunity to race Bagel's Valiant.

I am certain that your endeavors together will result in nothing but happiness and low ET's.

I must remind you, however, that I am indeed FOCUSED on crumbling your cookies and burning Bagel's bagels.

I too will be spending more time at the garage in order to accomplish this goal and am also very close to having the GodsRods Duster II ready to race. The Challenger will follow suit shortly thereafter.

Given that we are both much further along in our goals than any of us expected and that most race tracks are now, or soon will be, closed for the winter, I propose that we agree on a date to meet at Indy for a best 2 out of 3 Grudge Match "Winner Take All"!!. :D

You can arrange to have Bagel and anyone else you choose there to assist you. I will make arrangements to have any needed assistance there as well.

I would ask that you verify a date with the track at Indy. Preferably as close to the opening of the racing season as possible. I am looking forward to shutting you up once and for all!! :P

I wish you and Bagel the best of luck in your joint endeavor.

Sincerely Yours,

'Mater

I don't see that one happenin' any time soon. Me thinks it's gonna be in the high teens for awhile with whatever engine Cookie scrounged up. Even if he does have Bagel teachin' him a thing or two...

You'd BOTH better shoot for sooner! I'm willing to bring it to you at Indy to make it easier for you. No need to put off the inevitable! It's better just to take your medicine early in the season so that the dread of your defeat doesn't hang over your head all season.

With Bagel helpin' him out he should be ready to go a lot sooner than Clay City!

He's just tryin' to delay the inevitable defeat he knows is comin'!
