Wookie, was down at the shop today and got your drain plug drilled, tapped, and installed. It was clean and dry when I left. Very Happy

If I ever get presented another stripped pan I will defer to John's method and have Patrick weld in a new bunghole. Laughing

Not sure what that tab is made of in those pans, but it is harder than Billy Hell. Shocked

Thanks so much for all of your bunghole work! Shocked I was fiddlin' with Chase's Demon. This thing is way too wild for a 17 year old with x amount of driving hours and no stick experience. It is a project - we will sort it out!

Yeah,... And I'll take that "too wild" engine off yer hands! Wink

(When I mentioned to Gerald that I might pull the 318 out of the Dart and put a Slant 6 back in it because it was "too much" for my son Chase, he suggested simply adjusting the carb and / or linkage to not allow full throttle... Then, as he becomes more comfortable (responsible) simple adjustments can be made to add power back in. Wink )

Let me know when your Chase is ready for his own Grudge Match! Shocked

Mater Jr. versus Cookie Jr. !! Laughing

I have a feeling that a warmed over stock engine will find its way into the Demon. The Demon engine will probably wind up in the Piggie after a converter/trans is put together to compliment it.
