2012 Mason Dixon

For anyone wanting to plan their schedule, the Mason Dixon Dragway has posted their tentative 2012 schedule. The all Mopar event for this year is May the 19th & 20th. This has been the first race on the East side for the last 3 years, so make plans to attend. Of course this will be finalized at the banquet.

Another race

Lou,
Just in case I don't make it to the banquet. Can we discuss the possibility of another north east race. I know we discussed this a little bit before but I'd like us to consider it.
The last 2 years our race up here has been well attended and I think we could support another race up North. I know everyone wants a race in their back yard, and if it does not interest anyone that is fine. But if they will come then I think we should consider it. We (Covalt's) should have 5 cars ourselves, and maybe 6.
I did call The South Mountain Dragstrip (This is the track that runs drags on Friday night of the Carlisle Chrysler National) and they said that they probably would not be interested because the are overloaded that day already.

I agree it would be a good idea to do another NE race. Lebanon Valley near the NY/MA border off I90 might be a good spot? Or, Englishtown, NJ?
Might start a thread on that to check interest? We really need a race coordinator and some sort of interest before we schedule one.

Ha Ha.. I was just kidding anyway.. I dont think I will be going to any far races this year... Saving for Wedding, Honeymoon, Rollbar. etc.
It was an alignment of Planets & stars that I was able to make Clay City Last October.. Usually It's just all Band all the time during those Months.
