I AM NOT DEAD!
Just been stupidly busy for months since the Medford race last season. Hannah and I are just about ready to move from our tiny little single bedroom hole-in-the-wall in South Salem, to the wonderful section 8 neighborhoods of northern Keizer!
The place we are getting is actually a really good deal, despite the unsavory folk that will be around us.
$650 a month for:
2 story, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse with fenced in backyard, carport, on-site storage units (2), and the wonderful feeling that we are not stuck in the low-rent district, at least while we are inside.
My poor Dart will finally have a covered home wherein I can do all sorts of things to get her where she should be, rain or shine.
Hannah is still driving the 'ol blue Valiant too.
Anyways, I apologize for being MIA for so long. I will do my best to get on here more often, hopefully things calm down after we move.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season, and that everyone stayed safe.

It's good to know you are "alive & well" and still driving old Mopars!
(not many of us left... so we need to stick together!)

I think you need to update your sig! My friend still loves that car, it's his daily driver, I did a little body work on the fenders and passenger quarter and shot some flat black on it and he just loves the thing like crazy.
I still want to buy that super six manifold and carb from you, I'm just trying to get some money together._________________ Annabelle: 1970 Dodge Dart Hardtop

Wjajr:
Along the lines of what you said.... more living space = happier girlfriend/fiancee/wife whatever anyone's got at the time. Plus, an actual place to.... WORK ON MY DART!
Talked to the lady, and she agreed that the Dart gets the covered parking permanently. w00t!
Seth:
That there is exactly how long it's been since I've been around... LOL I definitely need to change it. Maybe I will do that now...
but..
You took off the green?!??!!? I thought that color would be just funky enough to be worth keeping... though it was really rough... Black though, I bet that thing looks awesome, especially with the chrome I put on around the windows... mmm black and chrome... yum...
I am really glad that 'ol Valiant got another life... it was going to be cut up and scrapped had I not come along and saved it... I paid more for it than I normally would, but a '69 Valiant with an almost perfect grille just could not be passed up.
If he ever decides he wants to sell it, please make sure he hits me up about it.
Doug,
While I don't drive my Dart daily, I still love to get in and fire her up once in awhile. This new place we are getting has a carport, so now I have a covered place with a locked storage room, and electrical outlets I can use to actually put the darn thing together like I want.
There is still a laundry list of things I want/need to do, and I can't wait to get started. I really appreciate the family we have here, there is no other like it. Period.
If all goes well, this next racing season should be a blast, and I might actually be able to go down the track at a speed that is consistent with my performance upgrades... haha!
I will keep looking in and make sure the city under the big red engine block at the top of the page is doing well.
