I have a BBP 7.25" laying in my shop, minus brakes. Come and get it.

Appreciate the offer, but I think I've found some closer to home, I must have just been measuring wrong Rolling Eyes

1973-76, they didn't make small drum cars?(9")

I believe 9" drums were still available until late 1975. They were still SBP.

I looked at a '74 Duster a couple months ago that was SBP drum brake. Shocked

that might explain part of my problem. I found a 1974 & 75 Dusters, both with SBP rear drums. The front brakes were already gone. I'll keep looking!

Every "late" A-body ('73-76) that I've seen was either 10" front/9" rear drums with sbp OR discs front/ 10" drum rear with lbp.

My first Dart was a '70 (/6 of course) that most folk considered "rare" or unsual because it came factory with 10" front drums.

The 8 3/4 stopped being offered in A-bodies in 1972 so if you found a LBP version someone made one with cut down C- body axles or redrilled flanges...

I used an early 8 3/4 housing and axles out of a '65 B-body wagon. I had the axles sent off, cut down & re-splined. I used the wagon backing plates because that was all I had. I ended up with 10 x 2.5" rear brakes on my '63 convert! I used '76 disc brakes up front. The rears are too big and lock up, and I never got around to adjusting that before I put the car in storage.
