E30 BMW /6 - 24hrs of LeMons - CMP 3/3/12 weekend w/report!

Slanted folks,
Just letting folks know that I will be driving for Jason Ernst's 24 hrs of LeMons team in the upcoming March 3-4 event at Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP) in Kershaw, SC (about 45 min SE of Charlotte, NC).
This is an '87 E30 BMW chassis with 225 Slant (w/904) power. Looks like they've done a great job on this car.
If anyone would like to come watch, please let me know. I'll be driving a well handling Dart or Valiant down there, and hope to sneak out on the track during a break too.

Man, I wish I could go to this.
This talk about the 24 Hours of LeMons and the ChumpCar Challenge have got me looking a little closer at that black Duster sitting over there next to the garage...

Yep, I know Dave bought your Dart because I was thinking seriously about buying it myself! He has given it a better home than I would have, though. Looking forward to learning from Dave. Seems like he must be a serious driver...

I am serious. It will be somewhere around third or fourth in priority. Just something I've wanted to do for a long time and if someone else were involved it would make it a lot more fun than the solo route I've been on.
It seems like a good fit. The car isn't great, but it can be made solid enough for this kind of racing.
