Any idea what a reasonable shape vehicle like this should go for?

You are going to need to research pricing. One thing going for you is summer is looming on the horizon. Look here under “Classifieds” button, there are always several A Body rag tops of various years listed for one source.

A good selling point with 4 buck gas on every street corner is the fuel efficiency of a six, compared to a big block…

Yeah.........I poked around and saw a few.
Interesting that there's an ebay Dart, and a couple in Hemmings at least in the 5k range.
