Where'd it go in the first place?

Somebody down there could probably help the poster out.

Donno...it was there and then I edited the post to add the poll, and either the board ate the link or my brain was unplugged and I deleted it.

That's a sweet car. I hope someone comes along side this guy and brings him into the fold.

Hmmm,... Confused

As far as car stuff in general goes I kinda wandered my way into it alone I s'pose. My older brother helped a little here and there I guess.

When I was stationed at Fort Bliss, TX there was an older hot rodder guy named Roy Averett (sp?) that walked me through my first engine and tranny rebuild. He also showed me how to paint by letting me paint the engine compartment in my '72 Dart. I wish I had more time to learn from him. The engine rebuild went well and the engine is pusing the Dart to mid 13's. The tranny rebuild was okay, but I misadjusted the bands and I had to have Gerald Wright go through it for me. It's still in the car now. Wink

Slant 6 stuff...? Confused The folks here on the Forum mostly I s'pose.

Gerald Wright has been more than patient with my silly questions since about 2003 or so... I'm still learnin' though... Laughing

What about you? Who has mentored/is still mentoring you?

So,... Who's gonna call and help this guy out? Shocked Very Happy

Contact made... he is "nibbling on the bait", so-to-speak. Twisted Evil Wink
The car reminds me of the Guzzi valiant... with a higher roof line.
