I have two different distributors, A mopar performace stock hei and one that has a ingnitor 2 that has been recurved. The only shop that i could find that will recurve the HEi on charges 100 hour for labor and then parts. what should it do?

There is nothing such as a "Mopar Performance stock HEI" distributor. If you mean that you have a Mopar Performance electronic ignition distributor, it would have come with extra-light advance weight springs. Not suitable for use on the street.

If you have a car set up for points already run the ignitor...If you have EI, get the other one recurved (if it's a MP distributor and you are only drag racing-plug and play)... do you have a part number tag on the EI unit?
