I usually use my snowmobile trailer in the summer to haul stuff like mower and 4-wheeler and whatever else but i have to leave the sleds parked on pallets all summer or load and unload every time I need to haul something.

This year i decided to fix up a old trailer that was out back.. it was an old snowmobile trailer that somebody extended ( so the axle is back a tad farther than i would like) but over all is only 12 feet long and 6 feet wide so its not bad and not heavy at all..

The bottom was all rotten and it had no sides so I took the old wood off and cleaned up and repainted the frame. Then I put new wood on bottom and made sides and added a old boat crank just for the heck of it lol now I'm working on ramps that stay attached and just flip up.

here is some of the progress so far

Utility trailers are so useful. Are you towing it with a slant six powered truck?

That looks like an extremely useful trailer. Be careful no to overload it or make the tongue too heavy- that would be easy to do due to its large size. The wood would look nice stained, or painted red or black.
