Okay so I have now bought my Super Six and a Carter BBD. I still need to do the kickdown linkage and gas pedal.

If anyone has a gas pedal kicking around to finish the conversion I would be willing to discuss it.

I found on eBay a Kickdown Linkage. How does this look?

Looks similar to the Lokar Cable system (if exactly as pictured) but at a lower cost.

If you can't find a 1966 A-body gas pedal and a 1974 V-8 throttle cable (best match for the application). I have the throttle cable, but only have post 1967 pedals which can be made to work...

I have a gas pedal cable I pulled at a junk yard, it 21" in total length.
Not sure if it will work for your application cause i never tried to install it, but if you want it you can have it for what I paid... 6 bucks.
plus shipping to you.

I already sent him a pedal and supersix throttle cable (they are shorter than the stock 1 barrel cable...21" would work great for a hyperpak or Aussiespeed though).

DusterIdiot I received the pedal and throttle linkage today thank you. It looks like it will work well.

The last thing I need or need to figure out is the transmission kickdown linkage. Charlie had suggested going to a local bike shop and I am good with that but he did not give enough info for me to figure it out.

Based on the pics I have found it looks like the throttle cable attaches to the top of a moon shaped bracket while the transmission linkage attached on the bottom with springs pulls. The problem is I have not seen a single image of the transmission side. Does it connect all the way down under the car or does it connect to the existing linkage?

The Lokar setup has a bracket that is bolted under one of the rear bolts on the tailshaft to body assembly on the tranny. The end of the cable has a bolt that bolts through the stock kickdown actuation arm on the tranny.
