Votes seem pretty spread out. I don't know who voted for us but I can tell you this, we will not be a contender for the nines! (Unless an extra 100hp falls out of the sky and into the motor)

I think Jefferies could do it if the 10.19 was legit. If he could shed 300# of weight and make the same run he is there.(Or new lighter car) Dale Rose has a shot because of the car and chassis set up he has, also Dale strikes me as the kind of guy who really goes after something when he wants to! Ron FI and NOS and he has a legitament shot at it. These are the two I would put money on...if I had too.

Sticking with the rules that was set-up in the beginning 2000# and had to be a legal Super Street/Hot Rod entry, with NOS begin the only exception allowed.....it aint going to be easy!!!!

Sure is going to be fun to watch huh???

I saw Mike ang Blaine go 10.19 at St. Louis in some real heat. If they travel to Columbus in some of that good Ohio air there can go in the 9s. The Cox bros has a new race roller cam engine and who knows what it will run and they will be at Columbus. Charlie Myers car has went faster than 10.31 so there is another contender. Dale has went 11.19 on racing fuel and is going to alchaol and nitros if that package is at Columbus there is another car. Tom Drake has not put the boost up high on ther beautiful car so there is another. Ron Hamby has just started using the nitros so here we go. Will is going to have a new engine so can't count him out nor Team Green. But i can tell you who is going to whup Bagels butt when and where i can race him. There could be 4 -9 second cars in the quick 4 how cool is that. Cool Cool Cool

I'm the one who voted for the Drakes. Does this mean that I was right, Tom? I guess we'll all see.

Hey Ron,
If you will pay for the next motor we will be glad to turn it up! Laughing Retirement checks and self employment does not leave a lot of money to spend on extra motors!!! Very Happy

well i'd vote for myself but there is just too many things to do and i just wont beable to get my motor built for this year!

oh well, 4.56sure-grip should be gettin me down the track nice! (if i can ever find the gears and sure-grip) Rolling Eyes

forgot to say that i dont plan to go easy on my rather stock bottom end, if i have to, i'll rip that engine to tiny little pices to get my "fastest" run Shocked
