Sounds great Norm!

To all you new folks. When you turn in off the main road just follow the road in and around to your right. It will take you past the bleachers and the concession stand. Continue on past the staging lanes and go to the pit area on the back side of the track. Some of us will be there on Friday and we will be easy to spot! We will be the ones that are slightly "slanted".

I will try and find the picture of the track facility for you all shortly. Everyone please just pay $15 at the track entrance and tell them you are racing Slant 6. Then once you get inside you can give me the $20 for the purse.

Patti & I will have the grill & plenty of food for everyone, so we want you all to make yourself at home. Look forward to seeing everyone in a couple weeks. All you local folks that are on the fence; time to jump off and get to working on your cars.  Come on out and enjoy all the fun.

Rick

My 87 slant D100 is basically in the same shape as last year, the year before that, the year before that - not driveable and still trying to get my late model Ram interior in it - you get the picture! And the slant 65 wagon is all torn down - maybe next year for one of them!

The ten day long range weather is looking kind of suspect. Will check later this week before we leave on Monday.

10 day forecast is almost as bad as a 30 day forecast!  Wait till we are a couple days away before gettin skeered. Odds are pretty heavy in our favor of getting our races in.

Does anyone know if there is a rain date for this race? The 10 day forecast does look pretty bleak (wet). Of course a LOT can change in 10 days.

If there is a rain out, and there is a rain date it will be decided with input from everyone after the cancellation. If they reschedule the Mopar event we may reschedule this race with it. It all depends on the when that is.

I want to emphasize that the weatherman can't get a 24 hour forecast right,so let's try not to scare people off already.

Well I head out tomorrow for the 1200 mile journey to visit great grand children and make the mason Dixon races. See everyone there if nothing bad happens.
