Just a follow up about where to park. As Jack said, behind the tower by the creek. When you come in past the gates, instead of taking a right to the pits, go straight. There is a small parking lot near the creek where we will be.

Wow - I didnt even know that was the pit area or parking - last time I was around that was swap meet etc.. I guuess the entrance is not over the Hill by the end of the 1/4 Mile anymore either?

I was seriously targeting being at Bristol with the 68 Barracuda,,

got the trailer trailer squared away, the car and truck ready and finally got a couple of test and tune runs in this past Friday night,,

the straight line handling above 60 MPH was horrific,, when I rebuilt the front end of the car I did a home garage alignment,,and
I ran the car last fall at a T&T, at Lucas Oil drag way on a 1/4 mile track, faster than 60 without issues.

I was running at a pretty small country 1/8 mile track north of Indy, ( Bunker Hill Dragway) I spoke with a few of the regulars and they said the track surface has some issues..On the otherhand, Lucas Oil probably has a near perfect track surface.

I have an appointment for a real alignment this week, but the soonest I can get a T&T session in is Friday,, I want to run the car back down the track at BH, to see what it will do. I can't see making the tow from Indy to Bristol without knowing that the car is going to drive straight,,and I need to see how straight it drives in less than perfect conditions.

sorry I just ran out of time.

Aren't the bathrooms and showers over in the right side of the track as you are coming in ? If I get the Nss switch fixed I will be sleeping in the truck and will need to be close to bathrooms and showers.

yes the showers and bathrooms are on the right. they are right up the hill from where we will be pitting. Everyone that can make it please try to make it because we are going to have a good time with family and friends. Remember this is a reunion with racing on the side.

Does anybody have contact info for Mark Charapich? Heck, I can't even remember his username to send a PM. Does anyone else remember it?

I talked to mark three weeks ago and he said he would try to make it and his son has a truck and he might bring it also but it would only be for one race.

Do we all need helmets? How picky are they on them?
