This is a Weber 10 inch clutch we installed behind a Slant Six with an OD 4 speed.
This pressure plate is listed for a Ford application and has some clearance problems as shown.
The bellhousing is an aluminium "multi bolt pattern" unit so it has a little more clearance then the iron unit.
Here is another look at the raised edge which hit the bellhousing.
We solved this peoblem by grinding away the interfering edge.
The trick was to remove the same amount of material (appx. 1/4") from
all 3 positions.
This unit has work well behind a 200 HP SL6 with many drag strip runs
to it's credit.
