Slant Six Forum :: Final 2022 Slant 6 MAKEUP RACE info: October 28-29 at Motormile Dragway in Fairlawn, VA

Records can only be set at events that feature a Slant Six Racing News points race. Any run during these events, including tune ups, time trials, or race rounds in the Slant 6 or other bracket races will qualify. If it is three day event with the Slant 6 race on Saturday, records can be set on Friday or Sunday also.

Guys, I updated the roll call and I have not heard of anyone else coming? Does anyone have any news from anyone else? Honestly, I am going to have trouble motivating myself to drive to a 4 man race. No offense meant to anyone, I just can't figure out how to get more people out?

Since the track is having a race on Sunday, also. would that qualify as a day that a record could be set?

Thats what I was thinking/hoping. If the car is running right, would like to try and make rounds on Fri and Sat, and go for a record on Sun. Keeping my fingers crossed for good weather.

I just spoke to Daniel Via. They do have 110 and 112 race gas. However they have canceled the Sunday Bracket race. It has been moved to the prior weekend. However we still have our races on Fri , and Sat.

Thanks for the info, Charlie. I just sent an email to Daniel to touch base again too. It now looks like the Saturday (Oct 29) race will not begin until 5 PM. We can use the day to hang out at my place, and/or wrench on Slant 6 cars! There is room for a little car show at my house. Lou

But I am still planning on coming out. Still working on the car, my truck, and hoping for good weather report. Almost 700 miles ea way for me.
