Post subject:  Chryslers at Carlisle.
I just wanted to let folks know that the drag racing at South Mtn, Friday night, has been canceled for this year. I just got an e-mail from The track owner and he said that the Carlisle people said that the drag racing would "conflict" with the drift course. I don't buy that, but anyway, I won't be taking the Valiant there this year. Just wanted to let anyone else who may have been thinking about coming that it is canceled.

I dont't buy that explanation.

Something else seems awry and that's a "convinent " excuse.

I don't think there are any Drift events anyway.

I am sure the FCA corporate thrill rides are there as well as the "Real Street Shootout"

The RSS is an smalish AutoX that I plan on participating in as well as possibly Ryan in the 65 Valiant.

Bring some more Covalt Clan and the shank boys... they will like the AutoX.

It will be the Debut of Grüne Hölle for what I have been building it for. :D :D :D

I will have to stop by and spy on your awesome garden... maybe we can chat gardening techniques from 6 feet away.

Yeah I just think they were calling their autocross course a drift track?? :?

I'm guessing they are worried about an onslaught of drag racers from all over the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic who will not do anything about social distancing?

A & A Trans will not be in attendance this year but plans to be there next. They will offer their show discount if you just give them a ring.

Call (317) 831-3066 Wed. July 8th through Wed. July 15 - 9 AM to 6 PM EST. You have to mention "Carlisle Sale" to get their discount which is basically 10% on most items.

If you mention" Wayne sent ya" - I will personally send Dennis a Rush poster that he can proudly display in his garage!

I was thinking about you guys.

I want to swap the 727 in my van for the Hydraulic version of the OD trans. Should be an easy swap. I wanted to buy the trans from A&A.. Maybe will have to be next year.
