OK, this is my first ever set of Wilwood brakes. I have the 120-6815 calipers w/Wilwood pads. I generally use the various anti-squeal compounds on the back of factory brakes when I service them. Is this practice recommended with Wilwood calipers? I don't want to gum up the pistons given that there aren't dust boots around the pistons. The car is still up on jack stands (for a while longer) so I can't drive and test.
Just looking for recommendations and best practices.

I have wilwoods on Ruster - Just slap ' em on They will be fine.

I Doubt the Hi End Brakes, rotors and pad compounds squeal much unless they are a super specific Road race Compound.

That's my experience, I am sure others will chime in with their first hand knowledge.

OK, thanks. The pads I got are the BP-20 compound. They seem to be semi-metallic. If they make noise, I'll just try the BP-10 pads.
