I'm building a 170 for a daily driver and can't decide on a cam. Compression ratio will 10.0 to 1 or more depending on cam. Larger valves and port work. I've got a stock cam and a Erson 270. I think the Erson may be to much in a 170 with stock converter. Would the Comp 264 be a better choice? I want a good idle, good low and midrange, but not done at 4500. |

Have Erson grind you a "special" RDP cam, 266 on the intake and 244 (254) on the exhaust. See this link for the detailed specs DD |
