I figure for a situation like this, the more the merrier, so I threw a link to this thread up over in the slant section at fABO www.forabodiesonly.com hope no one minds cross-posting

If the price is right I'd be in for a valve cover and a 4bbl intake.

Good Luck !!!!!!

Thx

Thanks to all for your interest! 68 cuda, the summit folks were cheaper than who? Thank you very much for the Offy contact info! I am thinking of drafting a letter to these folks and posting it for members approval/suggestions before the contact is made. Please feel free to keep posting ideas -suggestions and interest in all things Offy! :D Pharmboy said'"This community rocks!" I think he is on to something! :D

Now that is what I call buying power! In one day (over a holiday weekend) we have so far, interest in 10 valve covers and 3 to 4 intakes!!! :D I think we may have even more when folks get back from vaction. One thing to keep in mind is that the Offy cover has no provisions for pcv. SlantSix Dan has a good thread about this and if you to the gallery look at the Krylon Special (Chicks dig slant sixes.) It seems Lindross has solved this problem in a different fashion! I will be drafting a form letter/e-mail to send directly to Offy ( thanks 68Barracuda) and to Exeter Auto Supply. Pharmboy's aaa.marine and EAS both seem to have lower pricing then Summit , Offyparts.com ,etc. Pharmboy and I will keep you posted. We also welcome your help and advice/suggestions to make this thing happen! Thanks!

I was personally holding out of the one by Clifford. I really like the powder coating on it. But if you think we can get these for less than $120, I'd be down.

Here's my humble suggestion: What if we asked Leanna over at the FABO forum if she'd be willing to be the receiver for all the valve covers? I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants mine powder coated. She might be up for it if enough of us want her company to do the job. I hear she does really good work and I'm sure she'd cut us a break on it. I mean, it saves shipping it out again later. What do you think?

If they have one for an early 170, I believe the part near the firewall is recessed, then count me in for 1 plz.
Also I cant pass up a manifold (the dual 1 barrels, 5041) hopefully with a linkage kit, so add 1 more to the list if this intake can be worked into the deal.
:D :D :D

what kind of air cleaners do you use on a dual 1bll intake using 1920 holley's?

if they're cheap and easy, pencil me in for an intake + valve cover.

Believe the 63 or so, 64, 65, 66 and maybe later small round air cleaners will fit.
