Come on guys you know that all 57 chebbies are RED. I believe that is the 11th commandment.

Thou shall paint all 57 Chebbies RED! So says the LORD.

The 12th Commandment is:
When said chebbie owner gets outrun by turbocharged slant 6, slant 6 owner must remove hood to prove it!

Tom

"And on the 8th day God created the Slant 6, and when he saw it he said "It is good!"".

I thought '57's were all that faggy robin egg blue.

Uh huh. Blown Chevy indeed. How about this recipe: Take one Slant, add compression, flow, and spray. A dash of cam, and just a sprig of exhaust. Combine with a 999, and a 4.xx rear end, fold all this gently into a Rampage body. Serves as many as will line up! :D :D :D

Got a new slant, got the Rampage, got the trans, got the rear end. Just have to glue it all together. :)

Oh, and I reserve the name Slantasaurus. (Slantpage? Slampage?)

I saw a '56 with that robbin egg blue the other day, methinks that GunPilot doesn't realize that Project "X" was a long running project car for Popular Hot Rodding. It is still being used in their promotional materials.

Oooo. I know of another crew looking at building that same combo. A highly original package!

Ps its white and in real good condition except for a blowed up motor. When the owner told me this i said oh no so he said give me a c note and you can carry it home. I think i might of over did the motor thing but i told him i was going to restore it. So he wants to see it when it is restored :o :o Thanks Ron Parker

Youthinks correct. I didn't know that; still, Project X means a slant in a Rampage to me. Everybody that's building one raise your hand :)

Possum, you picked up a Rampage for $100? Crap, I had to pay $112.50 for mine on Ebay. Oh well.

Just need a few more parts, like a frame, and a 4-link, and a tubular K-member...
