Hello everyone. I have a couple of slants with Torqstorm superchargers. I drive them around town and do not take them to the track. The engines are stock from the manifolds down. I added Weber 32/36 DGEVs, 2 1/4 tailpipes through free flow mufflers, and Mopar electronic ignition. On the Dart, I added a low pressure electric fuel pump with a boost referenced regulator and return line. On the D100 I just boost referenced the mechanical pump from the atmospheric port. Both seem to perform about the same.
They both run well when driving around town and will jump when the 2nd barrel is reached.
They also both seem to run rich, based on plugs and AFR gauge, when driving around town but I know it should be rich when getting boost .
I modified the Webers for blow through by removing the choke butterflies and sealing the shaft. I am in Cali so no real need as the cold idle still works. I also modified the jets based on some recommendations that I gleaned from the web. This included - Primary air 160->145, left the Main at 145, Secondary air left at 170, Main 150->200.
I am now interested in really dialing in the Webers and just watching the gauges (AFR, Tach, Boost/ Vac, Fuel Pressure, and Oil Pressure) is challenging.

So my ask is if y’all have some guidance for a data logging system that is not too expensive. I figure that would be the best way to figure out the correct jets to use.

I’m retired and on a budget now. Like my dad used to say, “you either have the time or the money to do something” . Well, I’ve got the time.
Thanks in advance!

Any real logging system will be $$. Any chance you can mount a Go Pro or your cell phone camera to watch the gauges?

Not exactly cheap but a Microsquirt with Tuner Studio can be set up just for data logging. You'd probably spend $500 for the hardware and sensors.

Autometer now makes a tachometer with a few channels of datalogging.

Not cheap and you need sensors too.

Thanks for all of the responses. I am not surprised that there are no other economical (under $500.00) ways to data log besides the great recommendation of using cell phone video. I was also hoping to piggy back the gauge sensors which now seems unlikely. I can’t capture all of my gauges with a single shot as most are in the middle below the dash, but both have 1 important gauge on the left side below the dash. I may go with a less accurate but very economical alternative of having a ride along taking notes. I think that I can get one of my buddies to do it for a six pack. Should make for an interesting ride.

Get a used Gopro4/5/67 and some mounts.
It will have a wide enough video angle to capture the a pillar to the middle of the dash as needed.

Cheap gopro4's can be found on shopgoodwill.com

Good luck,

Greg
