New to turbos but want to do it to the slant six. But the big problem is that I need AC in warm weather. Has this been done ? Thanks. |

Yes, I have A/C and run a turbo. But my build is very different than most turbo builds. I have a rear mounted turbo under the car behind the rear axle. Left me with plenty of room for A/C. For most conventional turbo builds, the only available space for A/C would be to use a manual steering box and try to mount it where the power steering unit usually resides. Definitely would have to run a modern Sanden type compressor due to the tight quarters there. Brian |

Sam Powell did it on his 69 Dart with a Buick GN turbo and sanden compressor. PS too, IIRC. Try searching this site. He has passed away and the car was sold. Lou |

Power steering is easier with a modern pump and relocated reservoir like many modern cars use. Gref |
