I have a 1974 Plymouth Duster with a 198 and auto combination. I would like to try one of these kits for the drag strip. If I do, where is the best place to install the fuel/nitrous nozzle?......can I use an EGR block off plate and weld a bung on there for this? Thanks
I want to add that this car is all stock with the 1945 Holley 1 barrel carb and intake and stock exhaust manifold.

Spraying in at the bottom of the plenum? I think not. Seems to me the airflow wouldn't mix it very well with the charge from the carb. That kind of thing leads to blown/burned engines.
I suggest the proven method of a spray plate just under the throttle body of the carb.

Doug used to spray on a 1bbl intake. IIRC, it was in the side of the plenum. Maybe he'll see this and chime in.

I did see a picture online of a red one-barrel intake, looked to be aluminum, that had the Fuel and Nitrous solenoids mounted on it with the drilled/tapped threads for the nozzles. Gives me an idea for sure. Thanks
