It's happening! Looking forward to this.

Are y'all reserving a pit lane garage spot? They're $200. We figured between 4 drivers it was worth it to keep all our stuff that much closer to the fueling area. And not have to worry about tents since it's probably going to rain at some point. If so, email Nick Pon and ask him to put us next to each other!

We haven’t reserved one yet or paid the fees due Saturday.

Maybe I’m just being paranoid, but I want to actually drive the car just a little before committing everyone’s non-refundable dough.

Hopefully Adam and I will drive it tonight or tomorrow.

Once we commit it will be great to pit next to each other!

Nick extended our Deadline to Monday. There are still garages available, so he said to contact him once we pay our fees and he will see what he can do about putting us together.

Take it for a drive to get fuel and icecream.

Of it can survive that then you are rrady for 12 hours on the concrete jungle. :)

Adam and I took turns driving ToadRacer up and down the alley last night. I brought it home so I could drive it more today. Heading out now to find a big, empty parking lot before the rain hits.

Wow, looks so great with those wheels+tires. I can feel the lower weight from here... Best of luck w/alignment! I will fire up my '62 this week and make sure it's roadworthy... Too bad there's no practice on Friday, as I was hoping I might run that car too. Oh well, it'll be a blast anyway...

Note to self: Have enough fuel in the fuel cell when you take the car to the alignment shop...

Appointment was at 8:00 AM. I had the car there ready to roll in by 7:45. I had it running for a couple minutes to warm up... sputter, sputter, die...

I didn't have enough time to run and get gas before my appointment time, so I had to reschedule for Thursday. It has 15 gallons in it now...

Adam is stressing out that I have the car and there is work to be done. He said he is losing 8 work hours.
