Anyone have a problem with me coming east with my car to try and get records?I have no motivation here to got the car back and running unless its to try for records,which wont happen on the west coast.Car is all back together ready to stuff fresh eng back in.Trying to figure out where to stash car back there where i could,tinker fix stuff I break back there.I should just give the car to Seymore so he could try to beat Ryan. |

Seymour is retired. Not sure who would go after Ryan. You can have the use of my garage/shop/house if you head this way. |

Ditto the offer to store and offer tools and help in Kentucky. I even have a spare car trailer. Might be able to dig up sumthin’ to tow it with. 45 minutes from the Louisville airport. 2.5 hours from Clay City. Angie is a great cook. We have spare bedrooms. Do I need to go on...?

Would be nice to finally meet up in person. Makes sense to come out this way, the last few years have been very scarce for Slant 6 racing over on the west. I watched it from behind the starting line at Vegas years ago. It was one of the best leaving leaf spring cars I have ever seen. Definitely a lightning in a jar thing. |

Mark is a "lots of careful experiments gets it done" kinda guy. Super impressive car and a super guy. I have a fond memory of the final round at Woodburn when I had to let up at the end to not break out as Mark was about to whiz by me on the spray at 125 MPH. I was only doing 100. Sorry Mark... Lou |
