So which mount do I use when I swap my 77 engine into my 66 (with 64 front sheetmetal)?

You use the '62-'66 mount setup complete (engine brackets + insulators). The '77 parts won't even come close to fitting. You'll also need the '62-'66 oil pan and pickup tube, and if you have an automatic transmission, you'll need the 1/8" annular adaptor ring for the rear of the crankshaft.

You need the engine brackets and rubber insulators (mounts) for a 63-66 "A" body slant six.
You will also need the oil pan and pickup for the 66 down engine.
If you use the 66 trans, you will need an adapter bushing in the end of the crank, and the 77 flex plate.

The '73-up spool-type mounts likewise do a better job restraining the engine....
Which is one of the reasons why I did this...

As an added bonus, I get the through bolt idler (the reason I first started down this road) and I hope to be able to use the later swaybars as well.

Haven't fitted it yet, so it may not be a success, but I feel pretty confident.

You're welcome. Yes, you still need to do the swap, even w/V8 centrelink. The later pan hits the early K-frame because the sump is located differently.
