Hey all, I am currently running a "Super Six" set up w/ a 500 cfm Holley 2300. Am thinking about a duel 1-barrel offy set up. Anyone running this set up? Any pics? Am going more for the "WOW" factor than anything else.Car runs great as is and draws alot of attention at the local shows and cruise ins. I have allways enjoyed being different, friends have tried talking me into dropping a 360 into my Valiant but the little slant draws more attention & smiles.

I have run the 2X1 several times. It is great for WOW factor and mileage (if tuned right), but not the best for power. Great up to about 4500rpm, then flat.

For best simplicity, power, and mileage, your 500CFM carb on an offy manifold is a great setup. Just needs jet tuning.

Thanks for input Lou, any major hassles fabbing the kickdown and linkage?

For a rod-type throttle linkage, it's very easy. If you have later cable-type linkage, it's harder and using a cable to operate kickdown is essentially necessary.
