I need some basic info if anyone can answer.... I am not too interested in EFI HOWEVER I AM interested in fuel economy at this point... I have a 92 Lumina parts car that is just wasing away. It has a 3.1l (stroked 2. and I am curius if the setup can be used for my 225 slant. It currently has a super six setup.

My questions are:

How much money would need to be invested to make this conversion.

Are there any parts lists or articles for dummies to better explain this procedure?

If I cannot use this stup then I am not interested in investing in another....Thanks

What sort of injection does this lumina have? MPFI? TBI ? How is it triggered, cam/crank sensor ?

Its not going to be bolt-in, you'll have to do a fair amount of work, wether your going to transplant from another car or put in something from scratch.

Injectors may be a bit small but you may be able to make up for that with increased fuel pressure.

Need more details on what your willing to do, how much your willing to spend, and what parts you have to work with. A board member has a detailed article of what it took to transplant a GM EFI setup into his car in the articles section. Can find this in the articles section off of main www.slantsix.org page. Otherwise try www.msefi.com the manual is geared more towards megasquirt but most is fairly generic info.

For what it sounds like you want to do, perhaps your time is better spent tuning your carb or advance curve.
