Hey guys, thanks for all input on my carb question.

I bought a Holley 390 cfm with an elec choke. I have pulled my engine apart and taken the head off and removed the intake and exhaust manifolds.

So here is the question.
The engine is a 198, I am doing the head over with stainless
steel 170/144 valves, I will port and polish the head as well, I also have
an offy four barrell manifold and Clifford headers.

After getting it apart I thought that was't that hard, lets complete the job and change the camshaft.
What would you guys recommend for this setup?
Thanks again in advance.
Wayne

What is your target compression ratio, car weight, final drive ratio and vision for the car?

Is it a standard?...convertor stall? Premium fuel?

It is a 1970 Valiant 4 dr three speed standard. I will use it only on the street and not really push it too hard. I just wanted to wake it up a little and get some looks at the car shows. I can stand a fairly lopey idle with the standard trans. Not too sure about the weight of the car it is all stock on the body parts. Thanks
