can anyone tell me if the small 2 bolt starter thant comes on the ram van 6 cyl engine fit on a /6 225. i have new headers and need the smaller starter

If you are talking about a late-model van with a 3.9L V6, then yes, that mini starter will work. Pretty much any 90s-up V8 or V6 truck or van will have that nice Denso starter.

Oh yes. I got mine off a '94 Dakota V6 for 35 bucks. Cleaned it up, painted it, looks great and starts up the 'ol slant right now! Like Lou said, they are very well built units. I talked to a fella who rebuilts starters, and he said the only problems he sees with these units is the bushings, a 25 dollar fix.
