Just thought I'd share(show off) some pics of my new tyres.........yes we spell it with a Y down under. :)
Wheels are 15 x 6 and the rubber is Firestone 195/65 front and 215/65 rear.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I was using 205/60's front and back before. Those tyres looked a bit small on the back but good up front. The plan was to keep the front looking the same but go a bit narrower to help with steering, and go a bit bigger on the back to fill out the rear arches.
The ride is a lot better with the new tyres. The extra side wall on the back has really made a difference.
Here's a great website that I used for comparing tyre sizes. http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg4.html A bit over half way down the page there's a tyre size calculator that's good for visually comparing tyres.

SV162, that website link is great, lots of useful info on many other subjects too. In addition, I think it pays off to physically measure yourself the diameter of the different tires to choose from, if space is critical. Put two different brand tires of the same dimension next to eachother, and size suddenly becomes very relative! 8)
