Anyone else in for a slantsix.org collective purchase pot? Then we could collectively own a car none of us could ever dream of personally owning...

Shotgun!

Why passenger’s seat…. No competition for that seat from this bunch, unlimited rides.

Now I have to figure out who to contact and how to pitch the idea of the museum purchasing the XNR. Dan- do you have a web link to a web page detailing the history of the XNR? I became a member of the LeMay Museum and I am drafting an e-mail to them encouraging them to bid on the XNR. Any info I can come up with to sweeten the pitch would be helpful.

OK. I have saved a draft e-mail to the museum, and anyone that has an angle or info to add to the pitch can PM me or e-mail me (if you have my e-mail). I would really love to see this car be put on display somewhere where EVERYONE can go see it, rather than tucked away in some gazillionaires garage.

Maybe a slantsix.org fundraiser where people would pledge a certain amount of money towards the purchase price if the LeMay Museum buys it?

Well, I sent an e-mail of to the LeMay museum. We'll see if anything comes of it.
