Can you put up a diagram of the steel adapter plate you used for your T-5? I just got the correct bellhousing, and I would love to get my stepdad's plama cutter to work on this part.

I'm afraid I'll have to look through my old film pics to see what I have there and try to scan one in. Personally, I'd just send the BH to Keisler and have them do it (~ $200?). I had access to a CNC mill when I did it, so I was able to make the adapter ring and plate from the same chunk of steel. Even then, it was not perfect.

Basically it is a 1/4" plate with a 1/4" tall ring sticking out that fits into the BH hole. There is a hole through the center of the ring/plate that fits the T5 bearing retainer (4.91"). 7/16" studs come out to mount the T5, and there are countersunk holes to put 6 flathead allen bolts through the plate and into the BH holes.

I read all of your postings on the project on /6.com last night. You, Vader, and AndyF were all working like gangbusters on this, everybody was excited, and then, you guys were all done. Maybe Andy is ready to market his adapter plate. I will send him an email.

Is there a part number for the hydraulic master cylinder? I know that you used the mcleod, but do they only market one model?

The Mcleod MC is, I believe, 5/8" bore, and comes with one version of the kit in PAW. I ordered the TOB kit w/o MC and used a Wilwood 3/4" MC from Summit. I will probably convert to a 5/8" so it'll be easier to feather when racing.

Sorry about that, I was preoccupied when I was typing last. There is only one model of throw out bearing? I suppose there could be, as there are only a few standard sizes of input shafts, and you could make one that fits the largest.
